A fantastic opportunity at nbn, Australia’s largest infrastructure project, as the Project Specialist, reporting to the Cost Manager, where you will join the PMO Project Delivery Team, a key pillar within the Build business unit.

A bit about your role

The Project Specialist is responsible for dealing with both internal and external stakeholders, providing support across the build delivery program for New Developments, Business Segment, Commercial Works, Held Orders, Augmentation & Serviceability. This will include commercial validation of delivery partner payment claims, management of completions and defects, work issuance and allocation, and timely escalation response management.

This role will execute high quality transactional services, ensuring a strong customer experience for services, including understanding needs, make changes to approach and driving improvement opportunities. The role will be responsible for the execution of services including but not limited to the payment, planning, completion, work allocation & workflow, escalations, & reporting.

The Project Specialist will effectively execute services to expected standards, lead time and costs guidance provided and contribute to improvement activities.

A bit about you

To be successful in this role, you will bring extensive experience in a similar role involving project management and stakeholder management skills within telecommunications and you will have design experience with an understanding of build and contracts.

You will have an analytical mind, strong experience dealing with customers and processes, as well as good time management skills. You will have excellent communication skills, be result focused and resilient and able to adjust in a changing work environment.
