Tasman has continuous work available across various sites throughout Western Australia (WA) for major clients with long term contracts in place and we are seeking suitably qualified& committedWA based **Mechanical Fitters.**

As part of the Tasman Rope Access team, you’ll be responsible for supporting shutdown and maintenance activities across major WA sites.

**Your work will involve**:

- Assembling, maintaining and repairing mechanical components and equipment
- Interpreting technical drawings to ensure accurate and safe installation
- Identifying and troubleshooting mechanical faults
- Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard
- Working at heights and in confined spaces as required by the job

**About you**:

- WA Based
- Experience in the resource sector
- Australian recognised Trade Certificate
- IRATA (Rope Access) certification
- Hold a current Nationally Accredited Working in Confined Spaces and Working at Heights
- Hold a current Nationally Accredited OHS Card (White/Blue Card);
- Demonstrated experience working on large scale maintenance or small projects preferable
- Ability to pass a project specific pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol screen
