Fairfield East, Australia Currently Hiring Full time

A leading commercial furniture manufacturer that has been in operation for 30 years is seeking to employ a Warehouse Manager for their new purpose built facility in Fairfield East.

This position is very much a hands on, lead by example position where tasks with this role include:

- Leading a small team of 4-5 warehouse staff.
- Adhering to Work Health and Safety procedures.
- Working with the Inventory - Procurement, Logistics, Factory, Operations teams.
- Placement of inventory for easy access.
- Assembling commercial furniture
- Reconciling excess product returns from site back into inventory.
- Coordinating shipping container unloading.
- Loading truck of product for site projects.
- Checking products against check lists as preparation for following days work.
- Removal of waste.
- Keeping work areas clean.

**Requirements**:

- Prior experience at leading warehouse employees.
- Demonstrated experience implementing safety initiatives.
- Use of ERP systems and Excel spreadsheets
- Prior experience at Warehouse operations inc pick & pack.
- Effective communication both spoken & written.
- Effective time management inc implementation of daily / weekly work plans.
- Interpretation of inventory orders and other paperwork associated with the warehouse.
- Current Forklift license.

**Salary**: $38.00 - $45.00 per hour
