About the role

The Team Manager (TM) role is responsible for the operation and functioning of their assigned team and the Small Exposure Operating Model overall including achievement of effective and efficient processes involving credit submissions, customer account management and quality assurance across the Value chain. The focus of the TM will be on meeting all agreed service level expectations of our internal and external customers, building the performance and capability of their people, monitoring, and prioritisation of work according to skills, capability and workflow and managing overall performance of Small Exposure Operating Model within defined budget requirements. They will manage team performance, empower standardisation, and implement continuous improvement. The Small Exposure Operating Model TM’s will adopt a shared, collaborative approach to ensuring objectives are met. The TM’s will be responsible for tracking and monitoring key performance metrics to monitor the efficiency and effectiveness of the support provided to stakeholders and that expected outcomes are met.

The principal objective of the position is to provide leadership to all team members ensuring;
high level of engagement with frontline managers and staff to ensure deliverables are met

teams that are agile and adaptable and understand their role in achieving organisation, operations, and department goals

In addition to managing a team of RCM's, the TM is responsible for a reduced portfolio of customers in the SEOM, typically clients with TAE < $750K, and ensuring Rural Bank provides the right solutions to meet there needs.

About you

**You will have**:
Experience in a form of leadership in a team environment
Experience in a financial or banking environment
Ensure all personal (and team) mandatory risk training is completed within 6 months of due date
Proactively monitor processes (and employees) to ensure risks loss events or incidents of non-compliance are identified, managed and escalated on a timely basis
Operate within approved limits (with no breaches of those limits) without authorisation from the appropriate oversight body, for the policies of:

- Delegated Lending Authority
- Consecutive Annual Leave
- Group Authorities Register
- Corporate Card
Commitment to work, health and safety i.e.. take reasonable care for own health and safety; take reasonable care that acts or admissions do not adversely affect the Health and Safety of self/others
Compliance with all Bank policies
