**About the Role**:
The Governance Leader leads a small team to ensure best practice program governance, reporting, evaluation, business case development and funding agreement management functions are developed and maintained across programs and projects within the Water Infrastructure and Operations Branch. The role contributes to the planning, development, administration and implementation of programs and projects by collaborating with Managers, delivery teams and governance committees to identify and analyse project requirements ensuring the Branch operates within the requisite funding agreement, policy and legislative frameworks. The Governance Leader leads the provision of advice and recommendations, prepares high level and complex correspondence, negotiates with external stakeholders including leading engagement with funding partners, and collaborates with internal stakeholders on a wide range of matters relating to the delivery and management of Branch outcomes.

**Contract**:
Contract for up to 12 months.

**Special Conditions**:

- May be required to participate in fire management and associated duties.
- A current “C” Class drivers licence and willingness and ability to safely operate a 4wd is desirable.
- May be required to undertake intra or interstate travel and work outside of the normal hours of work.

**Remuneration**:
ASO7 $108,109 min - $116,864 max p.a.
