**About the Role**:
Working in the Client Support Unit as part of the Intake and Engagement team, we are looking for a passionate **Intake and Engagement Consultant** to support our clients and their support networks to access Minda services through their NDIS plans. In this role you will work closely with prospective and existing clients to understand their needs and promote Minda’s services to achieve client goals. The Intake and Engagement Consultant will display enthusiasm for working with others, building positive collaborative relationships across the organisation and a high level of attention to detail to ensure the best outcomes for the people we support.

**In this Role you will be responsible for**:

- Developing positive relationships with clients, their support networks & external stakeholders to ensure an outstanding customer experience and satisfaction.
- Being a point of contact for stakeholders and providing day to day administrative support and advice.
- Assisting clients and their support networks with understanding the variety of services Minda can deliver under their NDIS Plan that meet the client’s goals.
- Building relationships within community groups and facilitate information sessions including attending expos and community events to promote Minda.
- Creation of Service Agreements for new and existing clients, outlining all services and associated costs.
- Completion of client risk assessments and commencing support plans to align with individual needs
- Creating, maintaining and monitoring client files, ensuring an understanding of review dates and variations to Service Agreements are made as needed.
- Engaging with the organisation and service delivery areas to ensure understanding of capacity to deliver services and provide updates on request for services.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role within a Human Services organisation
- Tertiary Qualifications in Business, Disability or similar
- Able to develop and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Experience working with people with disabilities and their support networks, carers or advocates
- Good understanding of the NDIS, experience with NDIS MyPlace portal and working in an NDIS organisation
- Strong administration and organisation skills with a keen eye for detail

**Skills and Qualifications Required**
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or Valid DHS Disability Screening)
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- Current Driver's Licence
- Unrestricted Working Rights
- Proficient written and verbal communication
