**DEPUTY PRINCIPAL | Bishop Tyrrell Anglican College**
We are looking for an outstanding educational leader committed to an Anglican expression of inclusive education to join us.
Based in Fletcher NSW, located 30 minutes from the center of Newcastle, Bishop Tyrrell Anglican College is one of four schools forming part of Newcastle Anglican.
**Overview**
The Deputy Principal is a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, responsible for the day-to-day leadership and management of the school, with a strong focus on staff, educational, and pastoral leadership. Acting as the Principal’s delegate when required, the Deputy Principal plays a vital role in driving strategic initiatives and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Working closely with the Principal, the Deputy Principal supports and leads initiatives aligned with the College’s vision and strategic goals, ensuring high-quality learning experiences and positive outcomes across the school community.

**Essential Criteria**:
- Post-graduate qualifications in an appropriate discipline focusing on leadership or education (preferred).
- NESA Accreditation to teach in NSW.
- Experience in leadership in an independent school environment.
- Understanding of curriculum standards, regulations, and best practices in education.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
- Ongoing engagement in learning and improving educational practices.
- Awareness and sensitivity to the cultural and social dynamics within the school community.
- The successful applicant will possess a NSW Working with Children Check and be willing to undertake a National Criminal History Check.
