We have an exciting opportunity to join Metcash as a **Supply Planner**. The role of Supply Planner supports quality inventory flow into Metcash Food to ensure service maximization for retailers. This is a full
- time role based at our Macquarie Park office and has a direct reporting line into the Supply Manager.

**What you’ll do**
- Manage order placement into Metcash warehouses multiple categories and suppliers
- Develop and / or maintain strong supplier relationships with the aim of ensuring strong synergies between Supplier and Metcash supply chains
- Assist suppliers and Metcash teams in ensuring supplier changeovers, product changes, and other potential supply disruptions are seamless in execution
- Communicate key information to suppliers (e.g. forecast plans, supply plans, etc.) on a scheduled basis
- Drive and deliver a Service, Inventory, and Cost outcomes in line with KPI’s and Metcash’s Supermarket and Convenience strategy
- Deliver the process of shared forecasting between Metcash and its supplier partners.

**What you’ll bring**
- Excellent Problem solving including 'outside the box' solutions
- Relevant computing skills including intermediate Microsoft Excel (functional in complex data sets and pivot tables)
- Ability to prioritise effectively and manage many stakeholders
- Stakeholder management and relationship building irrespective of geographic locations of stakeholders
- Strong organisation skills with an eye for detail
- Experience in Supply Planning and Demand Planning across a large number of SKUs from multiple locations within an FMCG environment
- Experiencing to analysing, breaking down and challenging / changing complex demand plans in an agile fashion
- Experience in managing multiple stakeholders.
