**Position Information**:
Cammeray Public School is located on the popular lower north shore of Sydney, close to the city centre. Student enrolments are at 721, with 16% including children from a non-English speaking background. Our school values the richness and diversity of its student population.

Our grounds are extensive and provide creative outdoor learning spaces. A variety of playground areas have been developed to encourage imaginative learning opportunities. Boardwalks meander through wetlands and link to the adventure playground area. The parent community have actively supported and created these areas in partnership with the school. Parent partnerships are highly valued.

**Selection Criteria**:
In addition to the general selection criteria, approval to teach infants and/or primary with proven ability to lead Walker Learning research-based pedagogies to drive student engagement.
Demonstrated capacity to improve literacy and numeracy skills, by leading data analysis to inform differentiated teaching practice in Stage 2.

Highly developed communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills with capacity to lead, mentor and inspire innovation and change while maintaining positive relationships with students, staff and families.

Ability to work cohesively as part of an engaged and proactive leadership team, with the capacity to analyse and evaluate the school's progress towards excellence as part of the Strategic Improvement Plan.

**General Selection Criteria**:
1. Successful teaching experience with capacity to initiate improvement in teaching, learning and classroom practice
- 2. Knowledge of curriculum, assessment and student welfare with the ability to lead and design quality, inclusive teaching and learning programs- 3. Educational leadership skills to build the capacity and manage the performance of individuals and teams- 4. Well developed communication and interpersonal skills with the capacity to build relationships and engage students, staff and parents- 5.
