**_John Hunter Children’s Hospital is seeking an experienced General Paediatrician to join the General Paediatrics and Adolescent Medicine Service to provide clinical management and treatment of patients of John Hunter Children’s Hospital/HNEKidsHealth._**
**About the role**
**About you**
- A primary medical degree registrable with AHPRA and Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in General Paediatrics
- Evidence of training and experience in general paediatric medicine, including both inpatient and outpatient care of children and young people
- Evidence of recent work experience in the management of children and adolescents with eating disorders
- Evidence of experience and high-level clinical skills in Youth Drug and Alcohol Demonstrated commitment to working within a harm reduction philosophy in clinical addiction medicine
**What you'll do**
- Provide high-quality, evidence based care to admitted and non-admitted patients
- Participate in ward rounds, clinical handover, outpatient clinics and on-call duties
- Collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams
- Educate and supervise medical and allied health trainees
