**About the Role**:

- Applicants should hold a primary medical degree registrable with AHPRA and Fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) in General Medicine and/or Geriatric Medicine with dual qualifications desirable
- Overseas applicants with equivalent qualifications eligible for RACP registration are also welcome

- Brings comprehensive, recent experience in General Medicine and/or Geriatric Medicine
- Delivers patient-focused clinical services for inpatients, ED patients, and outpatients at John Hunter Hospital and Belmont District Hospital
- Provides clinical leadership to junior colleagues, ensuring evidence-based, best-practice patient care
- Demonstrates a commitment to equitable healthcare delivery
- Participates actively in teaching, research, and quality improvement programs
- Engages in relevant committees, planning groups, and working parties

From April 2024, you may also work at the John Hunter Hospital Medicine wards, temporarily located at Maitland Hospital, due to the construction of the new John Hunter Hospital Innovation Precinct (expected completion in 2026).
