Supply Officer

As a **Supply Officer**, you will be based in **Clayton, VIC**, and report to the Supply Chain Manager. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of raw materials and finished goods purchases using MRP principles, including the management of ensuring inventory to ensure product availability is according to business requirements. You will also review consumable cost improvement opportunities across PPG ANZ manufacturing facilities. **Responsibilities**: - Coordinate purchases of raw materials and purchased finished goods to ensure inventories are maintained at optimum levels. - Evaluate all minimum order quantities set by buyers and ensure they meet optimised inventory turns. - Ensure all MRP rules for products maintained in OPM are accurate and kept up to date. - Review, check and amend any errors with invoices on hold. - Line OTIF targets for AU business. - Ensure that the Item Releases for new raw materials and purchased finished goods are auctioned in a timely manner. - Maintaining correct delivery dates on all open orders. - Root cause analysis investigations into the causes of raw materials being late. - Any other duties as required as requested by the manager. **Qualifications**: - Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a batch production environment is beneficial. - Knowledge of MRP and inventory principles and detailed knowledge of resulting systems. - Understanding of Lean in an MRP environment. - Demonstrated relationship skills to ensure a coherent team approach to all activities. - Strong PC-based and demand management skills. - Good understanding of planning and supply functions. **About us**: **PPG: WE PROTECT AND BEAUTIFY THE WORLD** **The PPG Way** Every day at PPG: **We partner with customers to create mutual value.** We are insightful, dedicated, and proactive.
