Medical Receptionist

Rutherford Family Medical Practice is a privately owned, fully accredited Medical Practice that currently has a casual position available for an experienced professional medical receptionist to work on a casual basis and also with cover for sick/annual leave.

**Selection Criteria**:

- Previous experience in a medical or general practice reception role (preferred)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to provide a high level of customer service, while maintaining patient confidentiality and privacy
- Strong organisational, time management, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment

**Tasks and Responsibilities**:

- Welcome and assist patients with queries and appointments in person and over the phone, in a courteous and professional manner
- Process patient billings and payments using Best Practice software
- Perform general administrative duties including scanning, filing, and data entry
- Provide daily support to doctors, nurses, and the wider practice team

This role requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills, along with a high level of reliability and professionalism.

**Working Hours for this role**:
Between 8:30am - 5:00pm on **Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday**.
