The role Reporting to the Director, Reporting and Analysis, you will play a key role managing exploration and analysis activities that promote and support better understanding of the capital projects and programs across Queensland Health. You will undertake the development and implementation of innovative reporting systems that provides strategic insights into the delivery of capital projects and programs whilst also maintaining close working relationships with various key stakeholders.The successful personYou will have the ability to manage multiple tasks, setting priorities and achieve results within tight deadlines in an environment of change and evolution. You will have demonstrated experience in project management including the ability to scope projects, engage and direct consultants/contractors within time and budget constraints and the demonstrated ability to provide a high level of client and customer focus to deliver agreed outcomes. Your advanced analytical, conceptual and innovative problem-solving skills will be beneficial for this role. Furthermore, you will have extensive experience and ability to manage a multi-disciplinary team to plan and implement initiatives and to work independently as well as develop strong ongoing working relationships and mentor team members.

The Health Capital Division (HCD) works with the Hospital and Health Services (HHSs), the Department of Health, other government agencies, the construction sector and allied service providers to achieve value for money infrastructure outcomes. HCD provides capital services including land use planning, property services, design, procurement, delivery and maintenance for community health settings, hospitals, mental health facilities, residential care and staff accommodation. These services can be delivered directly as a service or through advice and support functions for HHSs. HCD also provides capital budget management, reporting and analysis functions across the entire Queensland Health infrastructure program. The Branch is client focused and tailors its support to the individual needs of our HHS partners.
