About the role
The Head of Clinical Governance - Hospitals at Calvary is the driving force behind top-notch quality and continuous improvement in both public and private hospitals. This role champions national initiatives to elevate clinical performance, working hand-in-hand with service executives to ensure the highest standards of clinical excellence.

**Your main duties will include**:
Lead and implement quality improvement and risk management initiatives across the organisation.
Develop and maintain clinical quality systems consistently across hospitals.
Oversee national clinical policies and procedures within the document control process.
Create and implement strategies for managing clinical risks and enhancing care quality.
Support and mentor staff on quality improvement tools and methods, and guide Calvary services on accreditation and standards.
Monitor compliance with accreditation requirements and ensure appropriate actions are taken.
Provide strategic direction for benchmarking activities and manage quality and safety initiatives.
Report on quality system performance, ensuring alignment with standards and stakeholder needs, and develop frameworks for a patient-focused quality system.
About you
Tertiary qualifications in health/quality management, or a related field.
Knowledge of clinical governance, quality, and safety principles with practical experience.
Proven experience in designing and implementing quality improvement programs in healthcare.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with experience in a multidisciplinary team environment.
Desirable
Ability to prepare and present education programs
