
Recruitment and Workforce Services Lead

The Department of Government Services (DGS) has an exciting opportunity for an experienced recruitment professional and leader to join the People and Culture branch in a fixed term position for 18 months due to parental leave.
Reporting to the Manager, Recruitment & Workforce Services and working across the team, the Recruitment and Workforce Services Team Lead will build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring delivery of both strategic and best practice advice on all recruitment and workforce services processes and initiatives.
You will be responsible for providing management of and leadership to members of the operational recruitment team, overseeing the daily activity and providing direction with a focus on promoting best practice recruitment. You will also work across the full recruitment and workforce services portfolio and the broader People and Culture team, to lead on projects, identify opportunities and develop process improvements for greater collaboration and cohesion to enhance and strengthen the delivery of all recruitment and workforce services for an improved and seamless customer experience.
About you
- Substantial experience in delivering and overseeing end to end recruitment processes
- Demonstrated experience in managing a high performing team and engage, motivate and develop others by providing feedback, coaching, mentoring and training opportunities
- The ability to guide and challenge others to deliver outstanding service, encourages new and different approaches and solutions that will deliver benefits beyond client expectations
- Highly developed relationship building skills with demonstrated experience working effectively and collaboratively with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders to provide advice and influence outcomes
- Strong conceptual and analytical skills, with sound judgment and a willingness to identify issues and develop appropriate solutions to solve business problems and improve efficiency and effectiveness
Experience in both Springboard and SAP SuccessFactors recruitment systems will be highly regarded.
