A well established privately owned transport company provides their customers with local, intrastate and interstate transport. They dedicate their success to the hard work of their drivers and staff and proudly give back to a number of charities and sporting clubs. Due to continued growth they now require an experienced Human Resources and Compliance Manager to continue developing their great culture whilst ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all employees.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Negotiating and/or Enterprise Agreement interpretation.
- Interpreting Storage & Wholesale, Clerks and Road Transport Awards.
- Review weekly time sheets to ensure business compliant with EA & modern awards.
- Review, create and update HR policies & procedures.
- Provide support for Workforce planning.
- End to end recruitment and selection.
- Managing the employee Lifecyle from onboarding to offboarding.
- Performance management.
- Learning and development strategies to retain staff.
- Assist developing training strategies to service all areas of business.
- Enhancing Organisational culture.
- Leading OH&S strategies and implementing initiatives for the business, promoting awareness of safety and obligations for all staff.
- Ability to manage fair work complaints.
- A solid understanding of NHVR and relevant fatigue management laws and implementation of policy and procedures to ensure compliance.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or experience within the transport and storage industry.
- Current knowledge of Fairwork & IR legislation including OH&S.
- Strong knowledge of Enterprise Agreement interpretation.
- Strong knowledge of modern awards.
