We are looking for a
**National Retail Operations Manager** to join our team. You will be a commercially focused leader, responsible for driving the financial and operational performance of our stores, nationwide.

This person will be passionate about sales, customer experience and tech savy.

**Ally Fashion** and its associate brands are an Australian-based young ladies’ destination that provides its customers with value, quality, and on-trend outfits through an enthusiastic, fun, and professional team. Ally first opened its doors in Sydney in 2001 and now has over 160+ stores nationally as well as a thriving online store shipping worldwide.

Reporting into Chief Retail Officer, this role will operate primarily from our Camperdown Head Office.

**The role**:

- Managing the overall Operations department
- Driving and implementing key initiatives in line with the company strategy;
- Overseeing and managing project deliverables, timelines and budgets for the operations department;
- Ensuring our Regional Managers and Store Managers are driving targets, analysing Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) and addressing financial management issues, impacting on store profitability;
- Providing our Regional Managers with practical expert advice and supporting them to improve efficiencies
- Driving the team to support our Managers grow sales and local market share in a way that is consistent with our operations strategy;
- Continual analysis of current practices for the development of ongoing operational efficiencies and productivity across a vast network of company stores;
- Develop your team in line with the learning & development, succession planning and growth strategies of the business.
- Manage data collection for the updating of metrics to achieve productivity targets, reduce cost per unit, eliminate errors and deliver excellent customer service.
- Oversee product and inventory
- Working with/ assisting Asset protection department with stock management and shrinkage.

**Skills required**:

- Bachelor’s degree in business management, business administration, business studies, or in a similar field.
- Experience in retail sales and customer service is also required for this position.
- able to coordinate sales operations across a retail chain.
- well versed in reviewing and evaluating sales records and financial statements.
- proficient in interacting with Retail and Store Managers and retail staff to communicate information relevant to sales
- Proven experience achieving KPIs and maximising profit
- Experience in retail operations and management and customer/supplier relationship management
- leadership with ability to drive a team
- proven ability to coach and develop others
- high degree of integrity and honesty in all dealings
- excellent analytical, interpersonal, organisational and communication skills.
- ability to work under pressure
- full driving licence
