
IT Ecourts Technical Support Officer, Supreme Court

The Supreme Court of Victoria is seeking for a Technical Support Officer who will assist the department in the development and support of technology solutions and services based on the needs of the Supreme Court (the Court).
The role will focus on but not limited to hardware and software support within the Court. The role will require the development of sound implementation of best practice processes and procedures in order to deliver IT services to enhance the efficient operations of the Court.
To be successful in this role you should be able to demonstrate:
- Relevant IT tertiary qualification or equivalent IT experience
- Proven track record of delivering IT services in a BAU, Infrastructure and change management environments
- Experienced in service management and Incident management based on best practice ITIL methodologies
- An enthusiastic and keen learner of all aspects of technology.

**Duties include**:
- Use theoretical knowledge to achieve agreed outcomes in moderately complex work situations to assist the eCourts environment to meet its operational objectives
- Provide high quality customer service, continuous improvement, innovation, solution-focused thinking and contribute to the technical development of IT eCourts requests / incidents / problems and change requests
- Provide assistance in the implementation of the eCourts strategy to deliver systematic and sustainable service improvements to its operating environment
- Initiate and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders including the judiciary, senior managers, court staff, and service providers, to ensure alignment with broader strategic directions and to ensure the Court's strategic drivers are being satisfied
- Assist the Team Leaders to enhance business practices in the eCourts environment by developing and maintaining up-to-date knowledge base of current IT work practices and emerging technical trends and strategies for continuous improvement
- Day to day functions and running of eCourts - this includes but not limited to troubleshooting and timely resolution of software and hardware issues
- After-hours support is required occasionally. The role also requires travel to regional courts.
