**Position/s are available due to Practice Growth and recent expansion from 3 to 6 treatment rooms. Due to continued projected growth we can expect to employ a few more Assistants soon.**

**CHOICE DENTAL** is an **Accredited **practice located in Browns Plains. Our professional team are committed to provide all our patients with the satisfaction of knowing they will receive quality service in a friendly and caring environment. We have been established for over 25 years and offer a wide variety of modern comprehensive dental services that include Preventative, Restorative, Orthodontics, Invisalign, Implants and Cosmetic Dentistry to many local families.

**About the role**:This opportunity is for someone who has proven experience in dental Assisting & reception, is self-motivated and possesses good communication skills. You’ll play a key role in clinical treatment and in performing reception duties. Your energetic nature and strong organisation skills will help ensure the ongoing success of the practice and satisfaction of our patients. We offer a long-term secure position. Avail to work Mon-Sat (approx. 35-38 hours per week).

**MUST** - As per guidelines, Hep B antibody levels and current communicable disease status is required upon commencement.

**Skills and Experience**:

- Proven Dental Assistant Experience - general Chair-side.
- Dental reception experience preferred.
- Certificate III in Dental Assisting preferable
- Have excellent English communication skills -verbal & written.
- Sterilisation skills and acquainted with current mandated infection control guidelines.
- Aware of cross infection and possess common sense to function independently.
- Complies with OH&S and privacy regulations and strict personal hygiene standards.
- Process patient payments, Management and updating of patient medical records
- Ability to interact within a team environment & continue to create a motivated team environment.
- Seek to continually improve standards within the Dental Service
- Process dental x-rays, instrument tracking, etc
- Successfully build rapport & help patients feel at ease -someone who goes the extra mile to care for our patients and has a good work ethic.

**Note: This position is NOT suitable for dentists & qualified oral health therapists (need not apply)

**Note: Remuneration is based on relevant experience and skill level. Plus pay percentage if applicable

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Casual, Apprenticeship
Part-time hours: 32-38 per week

**Salary**: $27.00 - $35.17 per hour
