We are seeking a Dental Assistant with experience to come join our friendly & supportive team in a fully accredited and patient focused practice. Choice Dental is a 6-chair practice and have been established for over 25yrs, offering a wide variety of comprehensive dental services that include Preventative, Restorative, Orthodontics, Implant and Cosmetic Dentistry to many local families.

**About the Position**:

- Experienced Casual Dental Assistant
- Chair side assisting, sterilisation & some reception
- **Flexibility to pick up shifts**
- Monday, Friday, rotating Saturday, (min 43 hours per fortnight
- with view to increase days)

**Duties & Responsibilities will Include**:

- Adhere to and follow all current infection control policies and practice procedures
- Sterilisation duties
- Assisting our Dentists & OHT with all aspects of chairside
- Preparation of surgeries for dental procedures
- Charting
- Deliver exceptional dental care and excellent customer service
- Administration support among other duties (HICAPS payments, Answering calls & enquiries
- Certificate III in Dental Assisting preferable
- minimum 1 years’ Dental Assistant experience
- Meticulous in sterilisation of instruments and equipment
- Proven knowledge & skill in sterilisation / infection control procedures
- String attention to detail & safety awareness
- Able to build rapport & help patients feel at ease
- Motivated, Works well in a team environment
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Good time management and organisation skills
- Dental software experience & Good computer literacy skills
- Fluent verbal and written English
- Reception and HICAPS Experience

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Casual

Pay: $26.00 - $36.50 per hour
