We know you. You’re an experienced Payroll person, with a good command of everything involved with an end-to-end payroll solution. You come with sound knowledge of all the component parts including award interpretation, superannuation, tax, annual leave and WorkCover. You care about doing good work, with a great team around you, that makes it easy to come into the office.
A terrific opportunity exists to join this privately owned, high growth and premium food business at a time of exciting transition, as a result of new ownership. Whilst not essential, if you happen to be a ‘foodie’ you’ll be in seventh heaven. By joining now, you’ll be part of the crew that will shape and evolve the business on its growth trajectory.
You’ll manage end-to-end payroll of 120ish employees on a fortnightly basis, alongside a small weekly payroll. You won’t be phased by some of the manual aspects of the function that are in place. Whilst manual, the processes are well set up and there aren’t any burning platforms to tackle, just an opportunity to transition to a more automated and streamlined way of working over time.
With an abundance of continuous improvement projects on the horizon within Payroll and the realm of HR more broadly, this could be a wonderful entry point to expand your career over time.
This is a flexible, part-time role (0.6FTE) and could be accommodated to fit around school hours, with a hybrid work setup. The only essential day in the office is Thursday.
