The Strategy and Performance Program enables the Bureau to deliver greater impact and value for Australia by aligning and integrating strategy, capability, culture and investment. We deliver activities focussed on the Bureau's Strategy, corporate planning, enterprise transformation and change management, and organisational performance reporting.
This is an opportunity to be part of enabling the ongoing development of the Bureau's strategic and change capability, working to the General Manager Strategy and Performance Program and the Strategy Integration Lead.
Strategy and Performance requires a skilled support officer with experience in events management. At an APS 5 level the Program Support Officer has a range of duties and activities to support the General Manager and strategy integration activities, including supporting the delivery of quarterly, large-scale, quarterly conferences (Strategy-in Action).
As the Program’s support officer you will get to see and learn the work across the Bureau. It can be a fast-paced busy environment where things can change quickly, and you will need to be flexible and agile in supporting the General Manager and the office. A high level of initiative and common sense are required, along with excellent organisational skills. Strong relationship skills are needed in support of collaboration and work with people to manage the diary, the inbox, the prioritisation of work, the projects, and activities within and across the Bureau's Groups.
You will liaise with diverse teams, both internal and with high-profile external stakeholders. The roles require a high degree of professionalism, judgement, and discretion.
