**About The Role**

Due to our growth, we have an opportunity for a IT Service Desk Technician to join our Information Technology team. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent literacy and communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure. To be successful, you must be a team player with well-developed problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Triage customer queries, incidents, problems, and requests by gathering relevant information and problem descriptions.
- Record interactions and data in compliance with required policies and procedures.
- Liaise with technical staff to resolve customer issues and ensure continuity of service.
- Track and report on service requests and incidents to ensure support is conducted in accordance with agreed standards, methods, and procedures, and that SLAs are adhered to.
- Participate in Information Technology projects as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.

**About You**

You collaborate effectively within a team setting, communicate confidently with customers, and offer support where needed. You actively listen and ask questions to understand service expectations and priorities. You possess good attention to detail for documentation purposes.

- Possess excellent interpersonal skills, capable of effective communication across all levels of business.
- Maintain friendly and professional phone manner.
- Passion for the IT industry.

- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Hold a degree in Information Technology or Computer Science, or alternatively, hold a Certificate IV qualification.
- Current QLD driver’s licence
