Join Sunwater as Construction Program Manager where you’ll play a vital role in managing the safe, on time and on budget delivery of high-quality project outcomes within the major works program. The role is responsible for all aspects of project delivery and managing multiple major capital projects valuing up to $100 million. You will partner with the Program Director - Major Projects or delegate the Project Management team to ensure project development and delivery meet or exceed project and stakeholder objectives.

As a Construction Program Manager at Sunwater, you will:

- Provide constructability cost and methods input throughout the development of project designs, and participation in relevant design workshops to represent key objectives of efficient and safe construction which meets cost plan
- Provide input to the identification and selection of subcontractors and suppliers in order to meet project needs.
- Deliver effective and efficient project delivery, performance monitoring and reporting, end-to-end project management, cost control, contract preparation, tender preparation and evaluation, construction management, commissioning and handover

We are seeking a talented individual with a proven track record in developing delivery methodology, including schedules, estimates and work packages for large projects. You will hold tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or Equivalent and have a minimum of 10 years’ experience in in a senior role within construction of major civil or bulk water engineering projects. You will also bring:

- **Delivery & resolution expertise**: Extensive experience in the delivery of collaborative contracts such as alliances and integrated partnering agreements on large complex civil infrastructure projects (>$100m) and experience in resolving design and contractual conflicts and satisfactorily negotiate appropriate outcomes.
- **Risk management skills**:Extensive technical and risk management skills, with the ability to identify potential asset risks and direct mitigation strategies.
- **Communication skills**: Excellent communication skills with a knack for writing and presenting quality reports and findings to senior leadership, including the Board and executive leadership team
