**About this role**

**What will I do?**
- Work as part of the Queensland Commercial Team in preparation of reporting of project financials and respond to queries from Project Teams, Team leaders, Group leaders and the Geography Commercial Lead.
- Devise and provide advice for the commercial strategy for major bids, including commercial risks.
- Responsible for cost control on allocated projects to meet profit and income targets.
- Review and approve financial forecasts prepared by project teams and ensure timely and accurate reporting of project performance.
- Produce monthly reports to a professional standard which clearly articulate the current performance of the project, risks and issues affecting commercial success, proposed changes to forecasts and other key metrics

**What will I bring?**
- 7+ years’ working in comparable commercial management or contract administration roles within the construction industry (main Contractor or Designer preferred)
- Proven record of working with senior leadership teams to identify profit drivers and commercial improvement opportunities on major construction or design projects.
- Experience in budgeting, financial reporting, cost tracking, and change management.
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritise effectively, and manage deadlines, highly organised.
- Ability to relate and work well with people at all levels within the team and within the wider office, as well as externally with clients as required.
