The Role

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller and working closely with the Director, this newly created role will be instrumental in driving strategic and commercial outcomes. You'll partner directly with the CFO, COO and divisional leadership to provide financial insights, assess capital allocation, and build out a robust 3–5 year growth plan.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Presenting monthly performance insights, KPIs, and recommendations to senior leadership
  • Supporting strategic planning, forecasting, and budget development
  • Leading financial modelling and return-on-capital analysis
  • Preparing board papers and supporting M&A activity
  • Enhancing systems, processes and financial controls across multiple geographies

This role is highly visible and influential, with a direct line into strategic decision-making at the highest level.

About You

You're a CA/CPA-qualified analyst or accountant with at least 3 years' experience in a commercial, multi-site environment. You have a knack for turning numbers into insights and a proactive mindset that seeks to improve business performance. You're comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders and thrive in environments where you're trusted to take ownership and influence outcomes.

Skills & Experience

  • CA/CPA qualified with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce or Finance
  • 3+ years in a commercial finance or commercial analyst role
  • Experience in a multi-site or fast-growing environment
  • Strong Excel and financial modelling skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities
  • Experience in health, aged care or manufacturing is a bonus but not essential
