**Data Insights Strategist**:

**Position Summary & Purpose**

You’ll be joining a high-performing team that is agile, creative and always pushing boundaries inside of the customer journey space. We love what we do, are a highly collaborative team and we want to challenge the status quo around personalisation and automation in the home loan market.

We’re looking for a skilled **Data Insights Strategist** who can identify opportunity in the data and combine this with commercial acumen to drive business performance. You’ll be a free-thinker who will dive into the data and identify opportunity that changes the way we communicate to our customers. We want to use data to drive market-leading personalisation through customer journeys - when, how and with what message should we be communicating our customers to give them the best home loan experience.

**Position Responsibilities**
- Own data analysis for the Customer Journeys team.
- Identify opportunities and insights for the Customer Journeys team to turn into actionable communications, based on the extensive 1P data that we hold on our customers.
- Bring commercial acumen to support business outcomes and KPI’s around acquisition, re-engagement and retention of our customer base.
- Support the Customer Journeys team on driving personalisation by identifying high value / high intent customer segments.
- Responsible for bringing a data-led approach to ongoing monitoring and analysis of journey performance**.**:

- Work with the data science team to build highly commercial models.
- This role will own reporting of Customer Journeys work and bring ideas for optimisation.
- Work with the broader Marketing team to understand Digital Attribution and what is driving new and existing customer activity.
- Work with X-functional stakeholders including Distribution & Aussie’s Lending division.
- Bring a commercial mindset to 3P data - what data is available, what could be beneficial and how could we consume it.

**Position Requirements - Background & Expertise**
- Commercial acumen - an understanding of business models and unit economics. Consultancy or Product Manager background is preferred not mandatory
- Data Analysis skills - SQL, Python
- Keen eye for detail
- Agile working - the ability to work in a project-based / sprint environment
- Self-starting mindset - the freedom to solve to your own problems / find opportunities from the Group data set. Be proactive in your problem solving
- Stakeholder management that allows you to bring in x-functional teams to solve problems.
- A problem solver who is passionate about business growth
- Experience of driving business growth through leveraging of datasets across any industry.
- Experience with data architecture or database design experience is preferred not mandatory
- Strong communication and presentation skills to clearly articulate the data findings
