Allied Health Program Manager

The Role
An opportunity has become available for an Allied Health Program Manager (Identified) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 10 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
- Lead a team providing guidance, advice, and support services across the broad range of First Nations Health Services
- Coordinate strategic service developments incorporating evidence-based practice and establishing mechanisms for the ongoing monitoring and evaluation of agreed service models to meet future service requirements
- Effectively design and plan for future Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Service operations that support the Health Equity agenda
- Undertake financial management to achieve organisational goals and priorities within available resource allocations
- Coordinate and prepare concept briefs or submissions for joint-funding and/or joint-commissioning, or other partnership opportunities

About you

**To be successful in this position you will require**:

- Identified Indigenous Information under s25 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1991, there is a genuine occupational requirement for the incumbent to be Indigenous to the Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander Community
- A tertiary degree (or equivalent) in any Allied Health Profession
- AHPRA Registration and/or other membership/eligibility for membership with the applicable Professional Association, including any necessary endorsements
- Driver licence
- Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella (Chicken Pox), Pertussis (Whooping Cough), Hepatitis B and COVID 19
- Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
- Declaration of serious discipline history must be completed

Salary
- Permanent full time
- Base salary ranging from $145 004 - $150 099 per annum
