Civil Supervisor required for 3-month Government assignment

**Your new company**

Hays are looking for an experienced Civil Maintenance Supervisor to join a Perth-based Government Authority on a 3 month placement in Fremantle.

**Your new role**

In this role you will be responsible for managing Building and Civil Contractors ensuring compliant construction practice and industry best standards. Your primary responsibilities will be:

- Cost management and scope management
- Variation, safety and quality control management
- Performance monitoring and reporting
- Supervising contractors on site
- Project Supervision and Contract Administration
- Formulation of maintenance and construction scopes of work, specifications and scheduling
- Formulate, implement and manage budget estimates and construction methods
- OHS

**What you'll need to succeed**

To be successful in this role you will need:

- Qualifications in Civil, Building or Construction, or relevant experience
- Current 'C' or 'CA' driver's license
- Knowledge of relevant statutory legislation and regulations
- Demonstrated experience in buildings, road and water services maintenance
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
