Anglicare is seeking a Head of Finance - Community and Mission to provide strategic financial management, insightful analysis, and high-quality reporting that supports our senior leadership team in achieving impactful outcomes.

Your Role

As the Head of Finance for Community and Mission, you will:

- Provide strategic financial leadership to support commercial operations and sound decision-making.
- Lead and mentor a team of 2 Finance Analysts, fostering capability, accountability, and professional development.
- Prepare and manage the month end schedule ensuring accuracy and completeness in a timely manner.
- Deliver accurate financial analysis, reporting, and key insights to guide divisional operational performance.
- Drive the budgeting, forecasting cycles, and the annual business planning process.
- Collaborate with other areas of the organisation and provide process improvement opportunities.
- Contribute to the overall organisation’s financial capabilities alongside other Finance leaders and the CFO.
- Develop and implement innovative financial systems and processes to drive efficiencies and better controls.
- Partner with Community and Mission stakeholders to shape the financial viability of Anglicare’s Community and Mission initiatives.
- Communicate effectively and articulate financial concepts and performance to various stakeholders ranging from the Executive level to a program case worker.

What You Bring
- Tertiary qualification in Commerce, Business, Accounting or related field.
- CA/CPA qualification with a minimum of 10 years’ experience in senior finance roles.
- Advanced financial analysis, budgeting, and strategic planning skills.
- Strong leadership abilities with a proven track record of building high-performing teams.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A keen interest in the not-for-profit sector and a desire to contribute to a values-driven organisation.
