**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage BIM projects & coordinate with project teams.
- Support project standards coordination with customers.
- Create Revit families.
- Must have expert level knowledge of MEP discipline.
- Help resolve BIM design issues.
- Manage and distribute coordinated digital documents to the project team.
- Coordinate needed hardware upgrades with IT.
- Communicate with subcontractors to receive, coordinate and update all electronic models.
- Manage software products including but not limited to incorporating new version releases and customization of the Revit products.
- Manage the implementation of supporting software, custom toolbars, macros and Dynamo routines for BIM.
- Evaluate new BIM related software and technologies and make recommendations based upon office needs, workflow process and efficiencies.
- Report on the office’s current and projected state in regard to BIM implementation.
- Create, upgrade and deploy strategies for the BIM implementation effort
- Evaluate the office's current workflow, strategies, budgets, projects, staffing, etc. and make recommendations, then follow through to ensure success.
- Solve problems whenever they arise.
- Provide BIM Fundamental/Intermediate training and continuing education to staff & clients.
- Co-ordinate meetings with clients, and accurately report meeting minutes to the relevant parties.
- Report on-going status updates to our various global BIM teams.

Minimum Requirements:

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture or related fields with 4+ years of related experience
- 3-5 years of Architectural/Engineering BIM experience
- 1-2 years of Project Management experience
- Ability to work from home
- Must be able to work regular working hours (GMT+10)
- Fluent English necessary

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Expert level knowledge of Autodesk's Revit required
- In-depth knowledge of technology-based collaboration systems
- Proven prior experience with large & complex project delivery using Revit
- Proven coordination process experience including working with consultants using multiple platforms
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and multiple deadlines
- Enjoy working in a collaborative team environment
- Knowledge of Australian BIM standards

**Remote Working**

As this position is fully remote, the team member does not have to be located in Melbourne. However, they must adhere to regular working hours for that timezone.

**Compensation and Employee Benefits**

This position is for a freelance team member. Compensation will be based on the hours worked with a regular schedule of 40 hrs/week with some sporadic overtime work required. All hours worked will be paid at base rate. As a self-employed team member, the incumbent will be responsible for their statutory work-related payments like social security, income tax and others.
