**About the Role**:
As a Fleet Controller you will be responsible for optimising vehicle operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and managing costs efficiently for a fleet, encompassing maintenance planning and execution, routing, driver management, and regulatory adherence.
- Coordinate and oversee day-to-day fleet operations to ensure efficiency and optimal asset utilisation.
- Implement strategies to control and reduce fleet-related costs while maximising budgetary efficiency.
- Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal regulations, implementing safety protocols to minimise risks and accidents.
- Maintain accurate records of fleet activities, preparing and presenting regular reports on performance, costs, and compliance.
- Utilize fleet management software to streamline operations, identify opportunities for process improvement, and implement best practices.

**This role will be responsible for**:

- Develop and manage scheduled maintenance programs for the fleet to minimise downtime and ensure optimal performance.
- Liaising with subcontractors to ensure documentation processes are maintained throughout repair and replacement servicing.
- Manage relationships with suppliers, maintenance providers, and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective services.
- Maintaining ERP systems such as SAP and VAMS to ensure maintenance profiles are maintained and updated.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including logistics, operations, and maintenance, to achieve overall organisational goals.

**Requirements**:
We're seeking a skilled Fleet Controller with:

- Ideally, 3-5 years in Fleet Management or a related field.
- Heavy Vehicle Maintenance Trade Certificate preferred
- proven experience with Compactors/ Bailers Bucher Municipal or equivalent
