**Consultant - Crisis and Business Continuity Management**
An outstanding opportunity has become available to join our growing Strategic Risk Consulting Team providing Crisis and Business Continuity Management consultancy services.
Based in Sydney, this position is for an established and productive professional individual contributor in Risk Consulting with demonstrated experience in defining and deploying crisis and business continuity strategies and programs for clients in line with our model and standard of service delivery. The person understands the big picture and clearly articulating point of view with rationale through logical written and verbal communications.

**We will count on you to**:
- Be able to step into the role of consultant and be ready to work as part of a team in the delivery of services.
- Have a general understanding of risk management, crisis and business continuity management.
- Have experience or some practical understanding in the undertaking a business impact analyses, preparing sessions and business continuity documentation, and be willing to expand your knowledge in these and in the broader resilience related areas.
- Be prepared to facilitate some projects on your own with moderate training and supervision.
- Liaise with clients in a professional and confident manner.
- Support the team in the delivery of a range of services including crisis management, business continuity management, emergency management and projects involving workshop facilitation, conducting business impact analysis, workshops, assisting in the development of programs, and preparation of training and scenario exercise sessions.
- Be proficient at writing detailed reports / documentation and have a thorough attention to detail.
- Be able to complete assigned projects within the timeframe to ensure they meet defined project objectives.
- Be willing to expand your knowledge in emerging risk services such as Climate Change and ESG.
- Continually develop professional skills by engaging in professional development courses.
- Strictly adhere to the Company’s Quality practices and other systems and procedures.
- Comply fully with the Company’s Errors and Omissions avoidance policy.
**What you need to have**:
- Experience working in consulting services to a broad client/industry base.
- Some experience in business continuity management, business impact analysis, and developing professional documents and materials.
- Possess formal qualifications - diploma or higher in a related discipline.
- Minimum two years in the consulting environment.
- Strong client, project and time management skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Technical knowledge and a comprehensive understanding of crisis and business continuity management and applicable standards (Australian and international) and relevant guides.
- A current driver’s license is essential as travel will be required outside of the metropolitan area.
- Flair for continuous improvement and results orientated.
- Ability to both work independently and as part of a team.
