**SEO Specialist**

As the SEO specialist you will help carry out the SEO strategy and execute tactics to help VGW's websites rank amongst the top websites for targeted search terms. You will also establish effective communications and collaboration with other teams within the marketing department to aid in delivering SEO and wider marketing initiatives where applicable i.e. creative, copy and product teams.

**Key responsibilities will include**:

- Perform keyword research in coordination with SEO business objectives to optimise existing content and uncover new opportunities
- Provide SEO analysis and recommendations in coordination with elements and structure of websites and web pages
- Provide recommendations and execute/manage strategies for content development in coordination with SEO goals
- Develop and implement link building campaigns
- Implement and administer search engine programs (XML sitemaps, webmaster tools)
- Monitor and evaluate search results and search performance across the major search channels in order to improve rankings
- Monitor and evaluate web analytics dashboards and reports in order to develop and recommend SEO strategies
- Communication to team and management on project development, timelines, and results
- Develop and educate on process to leverage all promotional, engagement and other content for SEO benefit - website stakeholders, creative, copy, third party research tools, partners

**What you will bring to the role**:

- Ideally at least three years' experience in a similar role.
- Passion for SEO and overall internet marketing
- Outstanding ability to think creatively, strategically and identify and resolve problems
- Ability to foster strong client relationships at various levels
- Attention to detail and the ability to effectively multi-task in a deadline driven atmosphere
- Excellent analytical, organizational, project management and time management skills
