Early Childhood Educator

**Location**:Sydney, NSW

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare the classroom on each day
- Work with the Lead Teacher to set up the safe, nurturing environment in the classroom, and maintain general order, cleanliness and aesthetics in classroom and campus
- Supervise children ‘s safety and daily schedule, including but not limited to childcare, feeding, naps, bedtime routine
- Partner with Room Leader to achieve goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement
- Communicate respectfully with children, parents, and cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts and corporate partners
- Implement the curriculum in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child
- Work with Room Leader for engagement, interaction, age-appropriate activities
- Relevant work assigned by direct line manager.

Qualifications:

- Having Certificate III of early childhood education
- Minimum 1 year or above in preschool/kindergarten early childhood education experience;
- Students in the process of obtaining a Diploma, or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education are encouraged to apply, and relevant coursework can be considered as part of the experience.
- Montessori/Reggio/Pikler trained experience (preferred);
- Effective communicator, self-motivated，team-player and customer oriented
- Able to use a computer with proficiency

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $30.00 - $39.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 38 per week
