**About the Role**
The Event and Marketing Manager is accountable for the planning and delivery of BOQ Business and BOQ Finance internal and external events, as well as supporting marketing campaign activity to build brand awareness and drive new business banking opportunities across our direct and broker channels.

Your role involves developing and implementing local and national event marketing plans including the negotiation of contracts in line with marketing priorities and assisting the organisation in meeting strategic objectives and revenue goals. You will be tasked with optimising the overall event strategy, with a focus on lead generation and the creation and nurturing of new and existing business relationships.

The events you will be involved in will include internal events, industry and broker events and conferences, trade stands and awards events. From these events, we will require you to provide reporting on performance, analysis of effectiveness and share outcomes and learnings with marketing and executive stakeholders.

**About you**

Ideally, you will have 3+ years experience in a similar role with focus on events management. You’ll have a good understanding of marketing principles and be able to demonstrate those skills in past work. We’d love someone with Financial Services background although this is not a must have.
