**About the Role**

We are seeking a skilled leader to oversee catering operations in our Sydney office. In this role, you will manage catering staff, coordinate event logistics, and handle inventory and budgets, ensuring high-quality service and client satisfaction. You will collaborate with practice groups, implement sustainable practices, and maintain health and safety compliance.

Additionally, you will support the Catering Manager in Melbourne and step in during their absence as needed. This role offers the chance to make a direct impact on office operations and client experience.

**Responsibilities**
- Manage catering operations, ensuring 5-star standards, seamless event execution, and client satisfaction.
- Oversee logistics for events and daily activities, including bi-weekly staff lunches and WELL compliance.
- Maintain public areas, meeting rooms, and kitchen facilities, ensuring cleanliness and functionality.
- Lead and mentor catering staff, managing schedules and fostering continuous improvement.
- Act as a liaison between business units, Client Engagement, Reception, and Facilities for smooth service delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute events and manage projects.
- Handle budgeting, inventory, and vendor relationships to ensure cost-effective operations.
- Draft and review policies for compliance and operational efficiency.
- Adhere to and enforce health, safety, and employment regulations.
- Manage the operationalisation of the catering kitchen and Barista café for the new Sydney office, scheduled for September 2025.
- Implement sustainable practices in sourcing, waste management, and overall operations.
- Provide barista, waiter, and food services, maintaining high standards of customer interaction.
- Monitor and maintain product and service quality to enhance the client experience.

**About You**
- Extensive experience in corporate or professional services environments, including catering operations and client-facing roles with 5-star standards.
- Proven expertise in event logistics, inventory, budget management, and health and safety compliance.
- Strong leadership skills to motivate staff and manage vendor relationships for quality and cost efficiency.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and accounts payable software.
- Highly organised and skilled in multitasking, prioritising, and planning.
- Effective communication, collaboration, and relationship-building abilities.
- Solutions-focused with a strong customer service ethic and stakeholder trust.
- Ability to challenge norms and deliver practical, innovative solutions.
