Function Supervisor

Monday to Friday Availability (Weekend Functions where necessary)

Catering Project are looking for Function Supervisors for our growing events team of our catering and events business located in Sydney. Seeking someone who has worked in catering/events. Has the skill set to multitask, and problem solve while keeping a level head. Highly organised, process driven, and quick thinker. Great opportunity for a passionate hospitality profession.

About the role:
Reporting to the Head of Sales and Events, this role is responsible for ensuring events run smoothly with client expectations being met. The Event Supervisor will be responsible for the delivery and management of offsite events, ensuring WHS measures are followed, and KPI’s are met.

Key Responsibilities:

- Always ensure a five-star standard of service for clients, meet and greet all guests in a friendly, professional manner.
- Provide efficient, friendly, and professional food and beverage service.
- Pack, set up and packdown of offsite events, following event runorders.
- Where necessary you will direct the onsite team including agency staff to achieve a high standard of service.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively liaise with a diverse range of people.
- Communicate and liaise with team members, kitchen and other areas of operation.
- Immaculate standard of personal grooming and presentation.
- Ability to resolve complaints and escalate to management when necessary.

To be successful in this role:

- At Least 2 year experience in a similar role
- A valid RSA
- Current Food Handlers Certificate (or be willing to obtain)
- Current drivers license

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: Up to $34.79 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 37 per week

Schedule:

- Day shift

**Experience**:

- Hospitality: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- RSA (required)
- Driver Licence (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
