**The Business**
An expanding and evolving Financial Services Co. based in an iconic building in the heard of the CBD, are looking for an empathetic and engaged Collections Coordinator to join their cohesive team. This is a permanent opportunity to join a growing business and work in a hybrid capacity - 2 days from home, 3 in the office (days chosen by you).

This business are a leading financial institution committed to providing exceptional customer service and maintaining high standards.

**The Role**
As Collections Coordinator, you will take charge of managing a portfolio of borrowers who are encountering difficulties with their repayments. Your primary responsibility will be to engage with borrowers, understanding their financial challenges, and work towards swift and effective resolutions. Day to day tasks look like;
- Delivering established arrears procedures and guidelines.
- Identifying and assisting borrowers in financial distress.
- Issuing Legal Default Notices and managing dishonoured payments while maintaining effective communication with stakeholders.

**About You**
To be considered for this opportunity, you will ideally have;
- Previous relevant experience, preferably in the lending/Finance sector
- Familiarity with ASIC collections procedures and hardship assistance guidelines is advantageous
- Exceptional negotiation, decision-making, organisation, and time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication
- The ability to multitask, self-manage, be adaptable in fast-paced environments, creatively problem-solving, work in a team, while maintaining exceptional stakeholder management.
