About the opportunity:
- Permanent Full Time Position managing our RAC homes in VIC North West region- To provide strong operational leadership and management support across Residential Aged Care homes in the regional area designated to this role.- To achieve operational and financial targets at all sites through the development of a performance-based culture across services, with a particular focus on the designated region.- Actively contribute to the strategic plan, implementation, enhancement and achievement of the Residential Aged Care Business Plan and the strategic direction of the Aged Care portfolio.- Animate service integration within the designated regional area across residential aged care, home care and retirement living, and health services as appropriate.- Engage with local communities, parishes, community groups and industry within the region as the local representative, promoting as an active community member.

To thrive in this role, you will have:
- Strong people management skills including career development, succession planning and experience in change management in a residential aged care environment.- High level of communication and interpersonal skills with proven ability to engage with both internal and external stakeholders.- Demonstrated business acumen and knowledge across residential operations, budgets, occupancy, AN-ACC, accreditation & expected aged care standards.- The ability to unite and lead a team that is focused on high performance in a values-driven culture.- Demonstrated understanding of person-centred care- Knowledge and experience of Aged Care Standards, the Accreditation process conducted by the Aged Care Quality & Safety Commission.- Tertiary qualifications in health care or management preferably with a residential aged care focus.- Management experience in a multidisciplinary, multi-site health or human services organisations.

You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:
- A current Police Record Check and NDIS workers clearance check.- Current driver's license- Current COVID-19 certificate, proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with Mercy Health’s policy.- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse, highly desirable.
