**THE OPPORTUNITY**
We have an opportunity for an experienced and dynamic **Product Manager** for our Equine business. It is the responsibility of the Product Manager Equine to ensure that all product development elements are in line with our standards and process.
Work closely with the General Manager - Equine on all Private Label growth & development initiatives and liaise closely with the Marketing team to design campaigns to promote product.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
The key objectives of the Product Manager are:
- Assist in the development of the Equine Category Strategy.
- To manage end to end the product cycle for all imported equine products to the end consumer.
- Work with the Brand Marketing teams to ensure all packing and brand processes are followed and implemented through the product development cycle.
- Work with the marketing team to create effective marketing campaigns to drive new products across all sales platforms and stores in Aust. & NZ.
- Work with the Brand Marketing teams to research all patents, copyrights and trademarks to ensure there are no infringement issues involved across Aust. & NZ
- Make adjustments to plan should business needs change or products are not performing including analysis and reporting to identify weakness or opportunity.
**ABOUT YOU**
- Minimum 3 years experience in a sourcing and/or product development role specifically in the Equine industry
- Proven ability to network domestically and internationally to secure quality products with competitive margins
- Understanding and experience in developing Private Label product specific to the Equine category
- Highly confident in Office 365
- Strong attention to details
- The ability to work under pressure and solve problems
- Ability to deal with ambiguity to meet changing work conditions
- Thorough understanding of the end customer within the Equine category including product specific needs and expectations
- Experience working to achieve targets and with strategic direction.
