**The Role**:
Maxima, and the City of Port Adelaide Enfield, are looking for a green thumb to undertake a Sports Turf Management Traineeship.

This diverse, 4-year fulltime role, will see you based out of the Regency Golf Course assisting to maintain the turf to a high standard and occasionally working across the Valley View and Glanville Par 3 courses.

You will develop relevant skills and knowledge within the industry through working hands-on, and support this with study on-the-job towards a nationally recognised **Certificate III in Sports Turf Management.**

**Duties Include**:

- Turf management including mowing and whipper snipping
- Golf course preparation
- Pest and weed control
- Irrigation maintenance and installation
- Rake sand bunkers
- Relocate holes

**About You**:

- Enjoy working outdoors and with garden tools
- Strong work ethic; reliable and punctual
- Ability to prioritise time and tasks when working under pressure
- Works effectively within a team and unsupervised
- Great communication skills
- Have a can-do attitude and willing to learn

**Role Requirements**:

- Available to work between the hours of 5am-1pm
- Current driver’s licence (provisional or c-class)
- Physically fit and healthy due to undertaking manual labour work
- Satisfactorily pass a pre-employment assessment, including a drug and alcohol test
- Previous experience in gardening, horticulture, or similar (advantageous)
