Lawn Nation is a South Australian-based company specialising in turf and irrigation construction, turf renovation, and ongoing maintenance. From our depot in Somerton Park, we service sites across South Australia, working with councils, sporting clubs, and schools.

We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional quality, attention to detail, and expert knowledge gained through years of experience. Supported by a talented team and a fleet of modern machinery, we are involved in high-profile projects such as the construction of the Gather Round ovals in Lyndoch and hold ongoing contracts with councils, sporting clubs, and schools.

The Role

We are seeking motivated apprentices to contribute to the maintenance and construction of sports fields, parks, and various outdoor spaces. You will carry out a range of general greenkeeping duties while gaining hands-on experience with a variety of equipment.

Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Sports turf maintenance (e.g., soccer fields, football fields, and lawn tennis courts)
• Pest and disease management
• Operating and maintaining turf care equipment
• Laying and maintaining turf surfaces
• Installing and maintaining irrigation systems
• Supporting other turf management tasks as required

Essential Qualifications and Requirements

• Current driver's licence

• Willingness to undertake the following qualifications and clearances (with costs covered by Lawn Nation):

• Certificate in Horticulture (or equivalent)

• Construction White Card
• National Police Check and clearances for working with children and the elderly
