Production Manager-timber/door Manufacturing

Doorcraft are one of the leading manufacturers of doors and joinery in Western Australia and require a skilled Production Manager to become a member of the company team.

The successful applicant must have strong experience in factory/production environments, attention to detail, be self-motivating and enjoy a team approach.

**Purpose of Your Position**:
The Production Manager role covers the full range of business operations from areas such as production proficiency, asset performance, safety/WHS, CNC operation, logistics and scheduling. The purpose of the role is to manage production, CNC operation and assist within the general strategies of the company. This is a broad and demanding role that is key within company development and achievements.

**Your Responsibilities and Duties**:
General technical and client solutions support.

Assist with lean manufacturing principles.

Manage product/inventory logistics.

Manage training and personnel support.

Manage business Workplace Health and Safety programs/compliance.

Manage production and building asset maintenance/development/performance.

Manage QA (Quality Assurance) reviews and development.

Manage and maintain all aspects of production manufacturing and scheduling.

Manage and maintain manufacturing techniques and product quality.

Ensure all labour resources are efficient to production and client needs.

Promotion and operation of lean manufacturing principles.

Manage inventories warehousing, storage methods and materials quality.

CNC Management & Operation (New Masterwood machine).

**Your General Experience**:
Essential
- Previous Leadership roles (Min 3 years experience).
- Manufacturing software and scheduling operation (Min 3 years)
- Timber/joinery construction methods (Min 3 years)

**Preferred-**
- Experienced in operations and product quality assurance
- Workplace health and safety awareness and training experience (Min 2 years)
- Fire doors manufacturing and compliance
- Logistics and general transport experience

**Your Academic and Trade Qualifications**:
Essential
- Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills
- Intermediate CAD drawing ability/experience
- Carpentry/Carpentry and Joinery trade certificate (preferred)

**Your Personal Qualities and Traits**:
