**About the opportunity**:
We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team in a high-touch role focused on transforming our security posture from the ground up. This is an opportunity to not only scale and grow a team but also to make a significant impact on the business's security strategy. You will cradle all aspects of Cyber Security with a direct line to the Head of IT, and a pathway to a CISO role should you have the ambition.

**About you**:
Some key responsibilities required;
- Reviewing and enhancing the existing ISMS and making improvements as it relates to business continuity
- Partner with the business to achieve IS027001 accreditation by performing security assessments in preparation for certification
- Help plan and establish a high functioning Security Operations center - on or offshore for new and prospective clients
- Take a proactive approach in bringing attention and raising security awareness within the business
- Take a hands-on approach to both the Information Security and Security Operations environment making recommendations for security solutions related to monitoring, vulnerability management & SIEM tooling
- Experience adopting and adhering to additional controls and frameworks such as Essential 8 and NIST
