Express Freighters Australia (EFA) is Qantas Freight’s wholly owned subsidiary. EFA operates the A321, B737 and B767 aircraft and has recently announced its plans to introduce the A330 P2F aircraft into its fleet.

Qantas Freight is on an exciting journey of growth and are seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified pilots who have a genuine desire to join our freighter operations.

To be eligible for consideration you must meet the following requirements:

- Australian Multi-Engine Aeroplane Instrument Rating with 2D and 3D endorsements
- Current CASA Class 1 medical
- ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 6
- 1500hrs total aeronautical experience in an aeroplane
- 500hrs as PIC on a multi-engine aircraft including 100hrs as PIC on night operations, _or_;
- 250hrs as PIC on a fixed wing aircraft and a minimum of 1000hrs First officer time on turbine RPT operations
- Multi-crew Cooperation Course (preferred)
- The ability to pass a Drug and Alcohol Test
- The ability to hold an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC)
- A current passport with unrestricted access to all Qantas ports of call with at least 12 months validity

Additionally, the following qualifications & experience are considered an advantage:

- Type rating on either; B737, B767, A321, A330 _(on your CASA licence)_
- Experience on an Airbus or Boeing type
- Time on applicable type
- Recent experience on an airline jet type
- Experience in freighter operations
