**DENTAL ASSISTANT POSITION AVAILABLE**

**Pymble Medical & Dental Centre**

**Position Overview**

This role initially offers 1 day per week, with the flexibility to cover additional shifts as needed and potential to increase regular days in the future. A fortnightly Saturday rotation is also required.

**About the Role**

Permanent part-time position (starting with 1 day per week)

Shifts available: 1 weekday & Fortnightly Saturday rotation. Opportunity to pick up extra shifts to cover staff leave or busy periods. Potential to expand to more regular days as the practice grows.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Chairside assistance during general, cosmetic, and surgical dental procedures
- Sterilisation and infection control in accordance with ADA and practice protocols
- Preparation and maintenance of dental instruments and equipment
- Patient care before, during, and after treatment
- Accurate record-keeping and charting
- Reception duties including appointment scheduling, billing and patient communication
- Manage accounts payable of all practice invoices
- Stock control and ordering of dental supplies
- Supporting the dentist and team to ensure smooth daily operations
