**About the role**

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic fulltime **Dental Assistant** to join our established and busy specialist dental practice in West Pymble. A car is essential as public transport is not ideal but can be accessed.

We are looking for someone available to work 38 hours per week (8:15am - 6:15 pm). Training will be provided in a supportive environment. This role will provide you with the opportunity to gain valuable experience in the dynamic field of healthcare and dental care. You will be an integral part of our team, supporting our dentists and contributing to the provision of exceptional patient care.

**What you'll be doing**
- Assisting dentists during examinations and procedures by preparing instruments, materials and equipment
- Sterilising and maintaining dental instruments and equipment
- Greeting and welcoming patients, and ensuring a positive patient experience
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Providing chairside assistance to dentists during treatments
- Undertaking general administrative duties as required.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week

Schedule:

- Day shift

Supplementary Pay:

- Overtime pay
- Penalty rates

**Experience**:

- Dental assistance: 1 year (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)

Work Location: In person
