**About the role**
As Leading Hand (Trade Asset Service) you will be part of the Asset Maintenance team and will be responsible for undertaking skilled maintenance and minor construction of Council assets. Your main focus will be on the maintenance of parks and facilities across Ipswich.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

- Providing exceptional customer service to internal clients
- Facilitating maintenance and minor construction of Council assets
- Conducting inspections on equipment and assets
- Assisting in the development of a teamwork plan.

**About you**
To be successful in this role you will have:

- An excellent fit with our values of communication, collaboration, integrity, efficiency and leadership
- Appropriate qualifications or experience in relevant fields
- Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team
- The ability to be resilient, flexible and adaptable
- A pre employment medical will be required for this role (Including drug and alcohol testing).

Respiratory protection equipment:

- Workers must pass a respirator fit test before they first start wearing a tight-fitting respirator and at regular intervals during their employment.
- Workers must be clean-shaven or only have facial hair that doesn’t interfere with the fitting surfaces and the valve of the respirator.

This is a permanent full time role, Grade 13-15 with a salary package commencing at $63,474 plus superannuation of up to 12.25%.
